The Care Station
Precision in Practice
Equipping the Guardian
You cannot manage what you do not measure.
The Petz Logic CARE STATION is designed to give you direct control over the variables that matter most in your pet's daily care. We provide these complimentary resources to ensure you have the baseline instruments required to manage health with scientific precision.
By integrating these tools into your routine, you Stop Guessing and Start Knowing. We are handing you the controls—giving you the confidence to communicate with professionals, understand your pet's unique data, and lead with logic in every decision.

FOR THE VEGITARIANS/ HERBIVORS

Precision Nutrition: No More Scooping Blind
Most pet Guardians rely on the vague "feeding guidelines" printed on the back of a bag. These are broad estimates designed to sell food, not to optimize your specific animal's health.
The Petz Logic Metabolic Calculator changes the math for canine, feline, and ferret nutrition. Instead of guessing, it uses the Veterinary Clinical Standard formula (Resting Energy Requirement) to calculate your pet's exact caloric needs based on their species, weight, life stage, and activity level. Whether you measure in cups or grams, this tool gives you the exact biological fuel requirement for your specific dog, cat, or ferret—not the average animal.
This resource is completely free. Bookmark this page and stop by anytime to recalculate as your pet’s weight, diet, or lifestyle changes.
The Petz Logic Dog and Cat Clinical Compendium
Welcome to a structured educational system directed towards pet health. This FREE TO ACCESS 190-page digital clinical compendium is your definitive information hub for understanding anatomy, injuries, illnesses, diseases, and parasites. It is designed to remove the guesswork, providing a logical framework to help you understand your pet’s physical well-being through every page you explore here.
The Goal: Understand, Identify, and Act The purpose of this compendium is to empower you with three specific skills:
Understand What’s Going On: Gain a clear view of internal systems, from detailed anatomy to the life cycles of parasites.
Look for Warning Signs: Learn to identify the subtle red flags and vital changes that indicate your pet needs professional medical attention.
Act Appropriately: Move forward with the confidence and data needed to collaborate effectively with your veterinarian.
Our Role in Your Care Team: This compendium is an educational resource and is not a substitute for professional veterinary medicine. We do not provide medical diagnoses or treatments.
Our mission is to provide you with the knowledge to be your pet’s best advocate, ensuring that when you and your vet talk, you are speaking the same language.
Always consult your veterinarian for medical emergencies, diagnoses, and treatment plans.

In Development: Expanded Species Libraries
The Logic doesn't stop at dogs and cats. I am currently engineering three additional medical compendiums: Avian, Small Mammal, and a combined Reptile & Amphibian volume.
Because I refuse to publish incomplete data, these extensive reference guides take time to curate. Each volume is being built with the same clinical depth and rigor as the Canine & Feline edition. They are currently in production and will be arriving soon to complete the Petz Logic ecosystem.
Please click the bottom right hand corner of the book to open it and turn the pages.

If you are looking for something specific, you will find it listed within the table of contents, from there you can click on the table of contents page # and it will take you right where you need to go.

The Greenery & Grain Hub
Precision Nutrient Mapping & Grazing Logic
Stop Guessing, Start Knowing.
For our vegetarian and herbivorous friends, a bowl isn't just a meal—it’s a landscape. In the wild, animals like rabbits, guinea pigs, and tortoises are high-speed foragers, biologically wired to seek out a massive variety of textures and nutrients. When their daily diet becomes a static "Groundhog Day" loop, their curiosity flatlines and health warning signs can begin to surface.
The Greenery Hub is your command center for transforming a boring bowl into a precision-based Nutrient Blueprint. We’ve moved past the guesswork to bring you a simple, two-step system for total dietary control. First, our calculator generates your pet’s exact daily volume and energy targets based on their unique biology. Second, you pair those numbers with our Master Pantry Cheat Sheet to build a highly diverse, rotation-based menu of leafy greens, crunchy fibers, complex grains, and plant-based proteins.
Why Dogs are Part of the Green Logic
You might notice dogs are included in this specialized hub. While dogs are facultative carnivores (omnivores), we recognize that many Guardians are navigating the specific challenges of plant-based canine care. Whether your dog is on a strictly managed vegetarian diet due to severe protein allergies, or you’ve made an ethical choice for their bowl, the stakes for accuracy are incredibly high.
Vegetarian dogs require a clinical focus on amino acid diversity—specifically Taurine and L-Carnitine—to protect heart health. We’ve included them here to ensure that if you are choosing a plant-based path, you have the data and the measurement tools to do it with total confidence and biological safety.
Whether you are a precision-focused Guardian measuring to the gram or you’re using our converted tablespoon and cup measures "on the fly," this tool ensures your pet’s daily intake is balanced, structured, and clinically sound.
Bookmark this page to your browser and come back anytime to swap out your selections. Variety is a solvable solution to boredom and selective eating. Use the CHEAT SHEET to experiment with new combinations, rotate seasonal vegetables, or test different grain-and-bean ratios. This is your workspace to keep your pet’s curiosity—and their health—at its peak.
Small Herbivores
(The Roughage Specialists)
These species are "obligate herbivores," meaning their gut motility depends on constant grazing.
Rabbits: All domestic breeds (Holland Lops, Mini Rex, Lionheads, Flemish Giants, etc.).
Guinea Pigs (Cavies): All varieties (American, Abyssinian, Peruvian, etc.). Note: The calculator helps with volume, but remember they require supplemental Vitamin C.
Chinchillas: While they have very specific dry-hay needs, this calculator helps map their roughage-to-pellet ratio.
Degus: Small Chilean rodents with strictly herbivorous requirements.
Small Rodent Omnivores
(The Grain & Seed Group)
These animals enjoy a "Vegetarian-leaning" diet focused on grains, beans, and fresh produce.
Fancy Rats: Like your crew (Betty, Delila, and Mya). They excel with the "Grain/Bean" and "Leafy Veg" logic.
Mice: Standard fancy mice.
Hamsters: Syrian, Dwarf, and Roborovski varieties.
Gerbils: Desert-dwelling rodents that thrive on the "Crunchy Veg" and "Grain" mapping.
Specialized Land Reptiles
This applies strictly to land-dwelling tortoises, not aquatic turtles.
Tortoises: Russian, Greek, Hermann’s, Sulcata, Leopard, and Red-footed Tortoises.
Logic Check: Aquatic turtles (like Red-eared Sliders) require animal protein and are not suited for this specific greenery-only math.
The Clinical/Ethical & Avian Choice
This is for the specific settings in the tool focused on opportunistic omnivores.
Vegetarian Dogs: Any breed, from a Great Dane to an English Bulldog. Applied to dogs on a plant-based diet due to severe protein allergies (clinical) or ethical choices. This logic ensures they get the calorie boost they need, especially during the "Growth Phase."
Birds (Avian): An opportunistic omnivore protocol. This logic focuses on the essential "Veggie Base" and "Grain/Seed" rotation to ensure dietary diversity and prevent the nutritional "Groundhog Day" loop.

A Personal Note
I’m building this ecosystem by hand, piece by piece. Since it’s just me behind the blueprints, I’m always open to hearing your concerns and evolving this design with your feedback. As we grow, I’m planning to add a dedicated Q&A section to help tackle the specific logic of our pets' lives.
All I ask is that you bring those words with kindness. Let’s keep this community as respectful as the animals we love.
Thank you so much 😊
